Clare
Clare is a senior occupational therapist with almost ten years of experience.
She loves to motivate and challenge children to improve their functional skills. Clare aims to find the ‘just right’ challenge where the activity is neither too hard nor too easy for the child to achieve. This way, the child is always met at their developmental level.
Clare graduated from Coventry University, UK, with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Occupational Therapy in 2009. She worked in London for over three years, initially with adults before specialising in paediatrics. In 2013, she moved to Singapore and has been here ever since. She is a Singapore Permanent Resident.
She is experienced in working with a variety of children in both clinic and school settings. Her clinical experience includes managing children with sensory processing difficulties, learning disabilities, coordination and fine motor issues, and other developmental delays. She is also a specialist in group sessions, including running handwriting groups and class sessions on executive functioning, social skills and other functional areas. Clare quickly builds rapport with both the children she sees and their parents, ensuring families are equipped with the knowledge and techniques to help achieve their therapy goals.
Clare is fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore, and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), UK.
